The diplomatic corps are educated men
And in their minds high treason is the height of acumen.
They never do take sides, they're far too slick for that,
They'll stab you in the back and then politely tip their hats.
And when the chips are down the golden rule applies,
Compromise until there's nothing left to compromise.
Walk away from the killing fields like you always do.
Double talk and double deals are second nature to you.
